The British actress, heretofore best known for once being engaged to and then breaking up with philanderer Jude Law, turned up Monday night at the Ziegfeld Theater for the premiere of the biographical film Factory Girl. Miller plays Edie Sedgwick, the well-born, sexy muse of artist Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce). The George Hickenlooper-directed film opens in Manhattan and Los Angeles on Friday, and star Miller relishes having the focus be on her career instead of her personal life. "She's a great actress," said Jimmy Fallon, who co-stars in the film as fellow Factory dweller Chuck Wein. (Warhol referred to his work and living space as the Factory.) And while commending Miller, the former Saturday Night Live regular noted she managed not to take work too seriously. "She's so funny. We laughed so much on-set." Fallon said he was looking forward to reuniting with Miller and other Factory cast mates to celebrate the movie premiere. "The gang's all back." As for the film's poster girl, Miller has had a busy 2007; she just premiered Interview, a drama directed by Steve Buscemi, at the Sundance Film Festival. And without fail, Miller has been linked in celebrity magazines and blogs with any number of men, including Josh Hartnett. And then there was October's "Pittsburgh incident." The actress apologized after she did a Rolling Stone interview in which she made disparaging remarks about the city, where she had been filming The Mysteries of Pittsburgh. More recently, Miller was seen at the Golden Globes and the Santa Barbara Film Festival in California. But she won't let the hectic schedule get to her. "I'm coping," she said from the red carpet, and getting "lots of sleep." To get into Sedgwick's head, Miller lost weight and studied her mannerisms. "It's a dream role," she said. It's an "honor to play her. I researched it for about a year. I empathized with her so much." Sedgwick, who appeared in many of Warhol's short films and is the cousin of The Closer star Kyra Sedgwick, died in 1971 at age 28 of a drug overdose. Actor Pearce, whose Warhol was so inspired by Sedgwick, said his own real-life muse "means everything to me." Who is it? His wife, Kate. "She's a very honest mirror for me," Pearce said. "We have great conversations about my work."

After his split from Scarlett Johansson, Josh Hartnett has been desperately trying to woo another "It" girl, Sienna Miller. Unfortunately for Josh, his attempts to get back in the dating saddle have not been going so well. According to London's Daily Mail, Josh is smitten with Sienna, but everything he tries to win her over with ends up going wrong. A source for the newspaper claims that after their first date earlier this month at Chateau Marmont, Josh had sent Sienna a bouquet of flowers with a mushy note. The insider said, "Sienna guessed he was trying for old-fashion Hollywood glam with the flowers, but to her his gesture came off as unoriginal, and a little on the cheesy side. She likes her men a little rough around the edges, and Josh seems too squeaky clean." Josh's next misstep occurred when he tried to arrange a second date with Sienna. The tattler said, "When [Josh] called her to follow up on his gift, he invited her out for a romantic dinner at The Ivy - he had already phoned the restaurant to get them a prime table. Sienna was quick to demur; she didn't want everyone jumping to the conclusion they were in a relationship." But it's not just little mistakes that are tanking any chances Hartnett has with Miller. He's done a few things that have shown he's clearly not yet over Johansson. The Mail claims he has been talking about Scarlett non-stop to Sienna and he has even confused Sienna with Scarlett over the phone. To top it off, an insider revealed, "During one of [Sienna's] phone conversations with Josh she was gushing about what she was going to wear to the Golden Globes. Instead of saying that he couldn't wait to see the number, Josh made the mistake of saying that the outfit sounded interesting, but didn't sound like anything Scarlett would wear."

But surely there is. And didn’t it come from the Sun? There is no little confusion. And it is left to the Star to clean up the mystery. “SIENNA SPENDS THE NIGHT WITH DIDDY.” The paper labels the two a “gruesome twosome”. But what of love? “Man, I was just being gentleman and dropping her off,” says Diddy. “We all hang out together, but there’s no more to it. But I know how these things get spliced together and look bad.”

Actress Sienna Miller "made out" with a monkey while shooting her new Esquire magazine photoshoot when her simian pal went too far with a kissing scene. Miller was told to pose with the money for one quirky photo, and to blow on the creature to grab it's attention. She recalls, "In order to make the monkey respond with you, you have to blow at its mouth - and it'll kiss you." But, when Miller blew, the cheeky monkey stuck his tongue in her mouth. The Alfie star adds, "I sort of made out with a monkey... It was a sweet monkey but, no, that's too much." And, to add insult to injury, the monkey also urinated on Miller's back.

Sienna Miller Says No To Josh-ing Around

Miller, 25, has been spotted dining with the ‘Lucky Number Slevin’ star Josh Hartnett in LA’s Chateau Marmont. Harnett, 28, is said to be smitten with the 'Factory Girl' star and, since their meeting, has bombarded the actress with flowers and text messages. Despite the fact that the pair have been out together on a number of occasions, Sienna is keen to draw the line. Miller is, according to one of Sienna’s friends, a little put off by her admirers advances-especially after he sent a note professing ‘how special their time together has been’. Miller is allegedly not ready for monogamy after her split from Jude Law and declined a dinner date at London’s The Ivy in case ‘people got the wrong idea’. Jude, however, was seen leaving London’s Groucho Club last night with a mystery blonde....back on the beat again, eh!
