Hayek will join Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Sid Ganis in unveiling nominations in 10 of the 24 award categories during an 8:30 a.m. (EST) news conference at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, the academy said Wednesday. Hayek was nominated for Best Actress in 2002 for her portrayal of artist Frida Kahlo in "Frida." Hayek's other films include "Ask the Dust," "After the Sunset," "Once upon a Time in Mexico," "Dogma" and "Fools Rush In." The Academy Awards will be presented Feb. 25 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood in ceremonies to be televised live on ABC. The ABC series won two Golden Globes on Monday, including best television comedy and best actress in a TV comedy for its breakout star, America Ferrera. Washington, Jan 17 (ANI): Salma Hayek is willing to settle down - but only when she finds a man who has more balls than her. The Mexican actress, who has dated A-list stars such as Edward Norton, revealed that what she really wants is the stereotypical "macho" and "detached" man. However, she is also left disappointed in her love life, for though her dates star off like that, she soon realises that the only reason those men put on the "macho" attitude, is because they are "weak and fragile underneath". What confuses and scares me most about men is the way they are so weak. Well, most of them. That's why they pretend to be detached and macho because they are very weak and fragile underneath," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. "They structure their lives so they don't have to deal with their emotions and feelings. That scares me," she said. Hayek also revealed that whenever people, especially her mom, question her about getting married; she always replies that she's waiting for a man who is gutsier than herself. "My mother always says, 'When are you going to get married?' And I say, 'When I find a man that has more balls than I do!" Hayek said.
