She has reportedly instructed her lawyers to look into several Los Angeles adoption agencies. A source told Britain's Grazia magazine, "Jen has thrown herself into adopting and wants it to happen straight away. She toyed with the idea while she was with Vince but began looking in December after they split." The actress, who recently split from her actor beau, Vince Vaughn, previously mentioned her desire to have children, following her divorce from Brad Pitt. "I've never in my life said I didn't want to have children. I did and I do and I will! The women that inspire me are the ones who have careers and children; why would I want to limit myself? I've always wanted to have children, and I would never give up that experience for a career. I want to have it all," She told Vanity Fair in 2005. Unlike her fellow celebrities, Madonna, Meg Ryan and her ex's lover Angelina Jolie, who have chosen to adopt internationally, the Former Friends star wants to adopt a baby inside the U.S. "She turned to friends for advice, including Oprah Winfrey, who advised her to adopt an African child, but she has settled on an American baby," the source adds. We think a more appropriate headline would read, "Friends Worry Britney's Fat and Drunk." Jennifer Aniston & Angelina Jolie Battle Settled by Brad Pitt?Jennifer Aniston is off to a fairly good start to the new year in the public eye. The striking actress opened the year at the People's Choice Awards turning heads and cracking jokes at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. As an added bonus she took home the trophy for favorite female movie star. Unfortunately, Angelina Jolie opened the year surrounded by controversy. She slammed Madonna in an interview, and her former lesbian lover is coming out with a tell all book. Add to that she called the adorable baby Shiloh 'a blob' and many believed she insinuated that she cared more for her adopted children more than Shiloh when she told Elle magazine: “I think I feel so much more for Mad and Z because they’re survivors, they came through so much. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born. I have less inclination to feel for her…” Now Us Weekly notes here that there is talk of a bit of an Angelina Jolie backlash. *** Life & Style Weekly is reporting this week that Jennifer now wants a meeting with Brad - and Angelina. The magazine uses the cover to claim that Jolie is concerned that she is losing Brad. The report cites an insider that says, "Now that Jen is willing to meet with Brad and Angie in person, "this could be the first step towards a lasting friendship." Some reports have stated that Jennifer has long moved past any friction with Brad and Angie. Jolie's 'Vogue' interview where she asked for a meeting with Jennifer clearly indicates that Angie has not. *** Can Brad finally repair his broken relationship with Jen and also help Angelina and Jennifer to strike up a cordial relationship if that's what the Hollywood starlets want? Jennifer Aniston 'Richer' Than Angelina Jolie, Britney SpearsJennifer Aniston may have lost to Angelina Jolie in the love department but she's clearly the winner when it comes to her bank account. Britney Spears may be the most famous pop princess in the land but Jen can buy and sell them both. Jennifer Aniston rounds off the Forbes top ten with a fortune of $110 million. Neither Spears nor Jolie made the list. No one with a fortune below $45 million qualified for a position on the rich list, which doesn't take into account non-working celebrities who essentially live off their royalties. Oprah Winfrey and J.K. Rowing are the richest women in entertainment. Oprah Winfrey is worth a staggering $1.5 billion fortune. J.K. Rowling is worth an estimated $1 billion. Martha Stewart comes in third with $638 million, followed by Madonna's $325 million fortune. Singer Celine Dion claims the fifth spot with $250 million, closely followed by Mariah Carey, who reportedly is worth $225 million.
