Eva MendesEva Mendes' Fitness Secretsthe March cover of Shape magazine, on newsstands next week, in a teeny-weeny bikini. But it wasn't always a photo she would have been willing to take. These days, the former junk-food junkie has cleaned up her act and talks to the magazine about how she got her "best body ever." "I don't emphasize on losing weight ever," the star of the upcoming 'Ghost Rider' movie explains. "I emphasize on just bettering my life. That's why I don't succumb to the pressure in Hollywood to be thin, because I am what I want to be. What I want is to feel really good inside and out." Eva talks candidly about the frequent stops she made at Jack in the Box and Burger King in her 20s as an up-and-coming actress, and how the fast food took its toll on her energy. Then HALLE BERRY, who along with Eva is a spokesperson for Revlon, turned the 'Hitch' star on to fitness coach HARLEY PASTERNAK. "I was not educated about nutrition at all," she admits. "The last couple of years I have been educating myself, reading a lot, and I have a fantastic trainer, Harley Pasternak, who has written a couple of books that can teach you a lot." Eva reveals her tips for healthy eating in Shape. As for her exercise routine, the former gym-phobe now does weight training and cardio, and wants women to know that there is no one perfect body. "My vision of a perfect body is a really healthy one," she shares. "I think perfect bodies come in [all shapes and sizes] ... you have the tall, slender GISELE-like perfect body. Then you have the JENNIFER LOPEZ perfect body, and then you have the BEYONCÉ perfect body. I appreciate women in all shapes and sizes because we are beautiful creatures." Eva Mendes Gives Us Sneak Peek At Ghost Rider's QualityIn a new article over at Sci-Fi Wire, super-hot Eva Mendes describes her experiences working with costar Nicholas Cage on the upcoming Ghost Rider film based, of course, on the Marvel comic of the same name. Some of you may have read a previous post or two by me wherein I express my skepticism that the movie version of Ghost Rider will be much more than a steaming pile of art. To help you see things my way, let me give you a little taste of how Eve Mendes describes working with Nic Cage on the film. "He would have the script, and he would come to the set and do the opposite of what was on the page," said Mendes in the article. That sounds like a positive working environment, no? But wait, it gets better. Mendes also added this tidbit: "He just kind of flips it. Then he can make the most mundane sentences sound really heavy. I think he's so into what he's doing. He's such a professional." Hmm, that's a pretty good way to describe the script your working with, Eva: mundane. Sounds promising. And I just have to wonder about calling Cage's behavior "professional." I tend to think actually working with the script and following it while shooting would be the professional way of doing it. Discarding the script completely and doing whatever the heck you want? Man, is this movie gonna be great! Eva Mendes: 'I'm Eating To Make My Breasts Bigger'Latina siren Eva Mendes is piling on the pounds to boost her cleavage for new movie Ghost Rider. The 32-year-old actress will play curvy Roxanne opposite Nicolas Cage's Johnny Blaze in the comic book adaptation - but she is desperate to have larger breasts for the role. She reveals, "If I gain weight, it goes to my boobs and my butt. The original Roxanne was blonde and blue-eyed but she also had huge bazoongas. So I wanted to make comic book fans happy. I figured since I can't be blonde and blue-eyed, I'd at least have her bra size." (c) WENN Janet Jackson, James Brown & Eva MendesJanet Jackson cannot help showing off her hot bod. In the latest issue of V magazine, Jackson wears nothing but a pair of Diesel jeans, a funky feather headdress by Givenchy Haute Couture and her hands covering her breasts. Besides the revealing photos, an interview includes this gem about a Jackson visit to a Malibu grocery store a few years ago with Missy Elliott. Admitting she's led a sheltered life, Jackson said: "I'm seeing this square thing (at the checkout), and I'm like, 'What's this, you guys?' And Missy just looked at me. And they said, 'That's so you can use your credit card.' And I said, 'You can use your credit card in grocery stores now?' Missy cracked up laughing ... I didn't know." James Brown insisted the women in his life "look a certain way," a source told janetcharl tonshollywood. com. And Brown was willing to pay to rid his wives' or girlfriends' flaws. Brown's third wife, Adrienne, died in 1996 while recovering from a liposuction procedure. The gossip website claims Brown spent $60,000 for breast and lip augmentation, liposuction, work on cheeks and chin, a brow lift and dental work for Tomi Rae Hynie, who is disputing his will. Brown, 73, died last Christmas morning. Eva Mendes told Maxim magazine she let herself go for a role in the new comic book movie "Ghost Rider" starring Nicolas Cage. Mendes was worried fans of the Marvel comic would object to her looks. "The original Roxanne was blonde and blue-eyed, but also had huge bajoongas. If I gain weight it goes to my boobs and my butt. I figured since I can't be blond and blue-eyed, I'll at least have her bra size."
